Out of the Woodlands
Belle Mitchell is an Australian artist and illustrator known for her finely detailed coloured pencil artwork inspired by the natural beauty of Australia’s landscape. Drawing from her own photography captured whilst exploring the parks, gardens and zoos she loves visiting. Bell’s work reflects a deep appreciation for the native animals, birds and botanicals that inhabit them. She is drawn to coloured pencil for its ability to create soft layers, subtle tones and intricate detail, perfect for capturing the delicate textures of feathers, fur and foliage. Her art invites viewers to slow down, notice the finer details and connect with the quite beauty of the natural world.
“Ye Olde”….Finn Stensrud
Opening Saturday May 2 continuing through until end of June
Finn
In Finn’s working life as an Architectural Draftsman, straight lines were required. So with his retirement hobby, free hand sketching of “YE OLDE” STRUCTURES IS MUCH MORE FUN. Finn’s sketches are in ink with Copic and Chameleon tines and slowly moving into watercolour
